wspta Focus day is this wed. february 13

We encourage you to come or send an email.  Here’s how.

Each year delegates from across the state convene for the WSPTA Legislative Assembly where we debate and prioritize issues of statewide significance to children.  This year PTA delegates voted as our #1 priority updating the basic education funding formulas to meet current needs and expectations, based on the education reform program which the state has been attempting to implement for over a decade.  We will be speaking to this as well as other priority issues when we meet with legislators at the Capitol for our Focus Day event this week.  There is no previous experience required to participate.  Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you.

To see a complete description of Focus Day events in Olympia, open the file found a the bottom of the page.

To participate from home, we recommend that you send an action alert email message.  There is a preprinted message created for you.  You can also add your own personal story to the message.  You do not need to know who your legislators are.  You only need to know your address.  To see the alert use the following link:

Thank you for doing whatever you can to support our advocacy efforts!!!!!
